Coalesce against Hepatitis
Published by admin on Tagged Health64 countries worldwide are coming together to raise awareness of Hepatitis. This huge effort has been running for four years, led by the World Hepatitis Alliance and includes areas such as North Africa, Beijing and South America.
This Non-Governmental effort aims to get the general public talking about Hepatitis and raise the level of knowledge about it. A fundamental part of their campaign includes the opportunity to sign up at www.aminumber12.org.
Through raising awareness, the WHO hopes to target Health Organisations worldwide, and cause them to develop a treatment plan for Hepatitis. It is a disease which can be cured and prevented with vaccines and courses of antibiotics, yet the means to do so are not yet in place.
