Child’s Vision

There’s an absolute truth behind every child’s word and a dream that is sometimes too good to be true. I visited Joan, a high school friend and found out that she already have a son. I did know this right away since we were not that close. I got to talk to Joan’s son and asked him is what he wanted when he grows up. He answered that he wanted to become a lawyer and fight for justice. He wants no police misconduct, corruption and justice for every person no matter what’s his social status is.
Perhaps these are not the exact words that came out the mouth of the child but this is what he exactly meant. I was amazed that a little child sees the world like this. It’s sad that the world we live in is like this but children makes me feel that there’s still hope for humanity. No matter what life has to offer them when they grow old, they are the ones who are next in line, the ones who will lead this world. What ever they, become, it is what our world becomes.
